LUNGO consists of a carafe (in two sizes) and a matching drinking glass. Both are available in a dark grey and a soft coffee brown - but it is the shapes that attract attention and in doing so, they underline the importance of eating and drinking slowly and consciously. When not being used on the table, the sculptural items are perfect as beautiful decorative pieces and create a real sense of calm. The traditional manufacturing method of the mouth-blown glass items of the LUNGO series not only creates the typical features such as bubbles, streaks or colour variations: Skilled glassblowers can also work specifically with the thickness of the material, which has been used as a design feature of the series: the wall thickness of approx. 3 mm, the clear ice base and the correct, angular cut of the rims. In combination with the natural material oak, which was dyed for the lids of the carafe, individual articles are created through different growth directions and characteristics. Unlike the glass body, the wooden lids must not be cleaned in the dishwasher.
