Hand knotted by skilled artisan weavers using a mixture of hand spun wool and viscose yarns, the beautiful variety of tone and shading is unique to the dexterity of the individual craftsman. Each piece is washed for added vitality and individuality. A 100 knot Tibetan weave that is the result of many highly skilled craftspeople. All processes in the construction of this rug are carried out by hand, from the carding and spinning of the yarn through the warping and knotting, to the finishing procedures of washing clipping and binding, not out of sentiment but because there is no better way of making a rug.
